Online Safety Warning – Poppy Playtime advice for parents

It has been brought to our attention that there is a new online horror game which some children are talking about in school. It is called Poppy Playtime and is based on a toy which chases you around a toy factory. The game does not appear to have any age restrictions, however developers have recommended age 8+. The game is designed to appeal to young children, however some of the imagery may be frightening.

The toy in this game is called Huggy Wuggy and he looks like this:

As a school we are not encouraging this game and have spoken to the children about the game not being suitable for them to play. Please could we ask that you reiterate these messages at home.
