Welcome to The Chalet School Dream, Believe, Achieve!

The Chalet School is a primary school for pupils with Autism and SEND. We are co-located with Liden Primary School and can access inclusive links. We offer an individualised knowledge based curriculum that is designed to support Autistic pupils to make good or better progress against their EHCP outcomes. Total Communication is embedded across the learning environment to enable all pupils to have access to their ‘voice’ and feel listened to. The school places great importance on enabling pupils to connect with nature through outdoor learning and experience the mental and physical health benefits this brings.

We want all pupils to gain more knowledge and develop the skills to reach their full potential and prepare them for the next phase of their education. We want them to feel safe and happy. We want them to make positive relationships with staff and make friends with their peers. We work in partnership with parents/carers and families to make this happen.
